Part-time Controller

RipCode, Inc. is an innovative new equipment manufacturer focused on the convergence of Internet-based IP video and the need to re-purpose content amongst a variety of viewing mediums. We are growing and are currently seeking candidates for the role of part-time Controller.

Reporting to the CFO, the part-time Controller will be responsible for the preparation, reconciliation, and maintenance of company financial statements, reports and systems as well as some HR related duties. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual possessing a high level of responsibility and skill set who is seeking part-time, flexible hours.

Specific responsibilities

  • Month end financials
  • AP/AR
  • General ledger reconciliation
  • Journal entries
  • Payroll and payroll taxes
  • Benefits administration
  • Reporting and statements
  • Other duties assigned by CFO

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility and advancement in Accounting field
  • Excellent working knowledge of finance and accounting principals and systems
  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree along with current and valid CPA license
  • Experience with Quickbooks is preferred; experience with Glovia Systems/GSInnovate software is a plus
  • Experience with software revenue recognition is preferred

Hours

Part-time, 2-3 days a week, not to exceed 20 hours.

Location

Our offices are located in Richardson, Texas, just east of Central Expressway/75 at Arapaho.
