TransAct Transcoder
TransAct Transcoder, RipCode’s transcoding appliance, is an integral component of the RipCode TransAct Platform and is specifically designed for the scalable, high concurrency needs of today’s new media environments. The TransAct Transcoder supports file-based On-Demand Transcoding and Live-Stream Transcoding in a single, 1RU appliance for optimal flexibility in delivering file-based or live content across mobile, Internet or IPTV domains.
TransAct Transcoder is a patent-pending, real-time video transcoding appliance built to address the growing need for a scalable, customizable and upgradeable transcoding solution for today’s new media community. Available as a turn-key high performance appliance, or software license for content providers with their own data center server farms, RipCode gives our customers the flexibility to easily scale as their transcoding needs increase.
The V6 also couples industry leading transcoding applications, concurrency, output quality, and real time performance with a comprehensive suite of popular video delivery applications including RTSP streaming, Adaptive RTSP streaming, HTTP Progressive Download, Apple iPhone 3.0 Streaming, Microsoft Smooth Streaming, and Adobe’s upcoming HTTP Adaptive Download.
